Chair’s Report
• Some Departments have already used all their proxies for the year.
• The next AAC meeting is in September.
EMA
• Fuelman Report - Our annual budget is $50,000. We have used $45,091.49 so far. We have 3 months remaining in the budget year.
• If you are needing ICS 300 & 400 please get with Don.
• The Homeland Security Grant Applications are opening up soon.
911
• The Motorola connection is very slow, still working to make this happen.
Training
• Rope 1 & 2 are August 23rd, 24th, and 25th 9AM-6PM at Palisades.
• A Swift water and Surface water class is in the making again.

Forestry
• Matt will have Grant checks at the next meeting, now any member of the department can pick them up.
• Forestry is looking a new hire for a wildlife position in Shelby County if you are interested please get with Matt.
Special Ops

St. Vincent's Blount
• Medicine Pickup is going great. Remember the hours are Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM
BREMSS
• EMSA will start October 1st.
• Train the Trainer is now available.
Blount EMS
• Advanced EMT class started July 1st.
• Weslie told everyone a good job with calls.

• Alabama Fire College is working to get a Critical Stress Debriefing to go all over the state. You can call the 1-800 number if you need help.
• The new website is out but it needs updating for each department. Please get with Chief Willis about getting updated information to them for your department.

Jr. FF Camp
• Very Successful Camp, had 36 kids and over 45 instructors.
NEW Business
• 5” LCD hose from New Jersey and New York the hose is now at Tuscaloosa, per 2801 if you need some get with him and he will get it from Tuscaloosa and bring to you. If you need hoods, gloves, gear, boots, etc. get with him.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1950 hours.
The next meeting will be held on August 5th, 2021 at Mt. High/Ricetown at 1830 for meal
