• Member Departments not present: Mount High, Ricetown, Rosa, Summit
• Associate members present: EMA, Forestry, Special Ops, STV Blount, BREMSS, Coroner, Alabama Fire College
• Associate Members not present: 911 Commission, Lifeguard, Law Enforcement, State Fire Marshall’s Office, RAMS, Survival Flight, Red Cross, District Attorney, VOAD, Air Evac

      Chairman

• LTE devices are not recognized by ISO
• AAC meeting 8/30/23- discussed restructuring the committee; 911 director should not be the chair of the AAC. Director of 911 and dispatcher removed from AAC committee and replaced by the 911 Board.

      EMA

• At $90,000 for fuel man

• Opportunity to become a drone pilot- money is available to pay

Forestry

• Must do direct deposit in the next year

       BREMSS

• Banquet next Tuesday at Trussville
• Will change how strokes are routed based on severity

 

Coroner

• Lots of overdoses

Alabama Fire College

• $100,000 in Volunteer Firefighter training
• Still have volunteer weekends
